I congratulate Chaz Bono on his courage to publicly announce his transgender decisions. I have watched many in his situation struggle with how to match the gender with which they are physically born to a mismatch of how they have always identified inside. And believe me similarly to how useless reparative therapy to fix someone who is gay or lesbian is, reparative talk therapy won’t change or help ‘fix’ someone who knows inside themselves they are transgendered individual.
